Black Diamond Runs (Hard)
Hike (or snowshoe) in RMNP

Rocky Mountain National Park (about an hour away) is an excellent place to get out and enjoy the mountians. Depending on the snowfall and the weather, there could be a variety of activities to do in early April, there may be snow still, but also could be hiking trails opening up. Either way, it's a beautiful option!

Go Skiing

Lets face it, you heard this wedding was in Colorado and you thought this could be a great time to sneak in some of our wonderful slopes! Early April is coming up on the tail end of the skiing season, depending on the snowfall that year. About a month or two before, a google search of "colorado ski resort closing dates" should come up with the projected end of season dates for many resorts. Some are open later than others.
